If you look at the Quality Raters Guide in the process of creating your content, you’ll be closer to achieving your goals.
What are Quality Raters?
The Quality Raters are individuals framed in the Google search quality program that, following a unified editorial guide (the Quality Raters Guide) classify the pages they visit.
These visits (it would be more appropriate to say inspections) are made under specific premises that can greatly affect the life of a website, either by giving it the greatest relevance or considering it spam or even a danger to the visitor.
That is, one of these inspections can give you or take away points of faces to your online objectives.
How to avoid manual penalties?
The best way to publish or optimize websites, knowing that we face automatic exams and possible penalties (Google’s famous updates) or even the visit of one of these Quality Raters, is to know your editorial guide.
What less to not suffer than to know the parameters that will make us attractive and promotable or suspicious and eventual target of manual penalties.
Overcoming a manual penalty
It is not an easy task, although the causes that lead to it will probably be clear and explained; that at least if we compare a manual penalty (managed by a person, a Quality Rater) with an algorithmic penalty, that is, those imposed by Google brain automatically.
The automatic ones are usually of bad diagnosis, it is necessary to analyze, to contrast, it can require a lot of success/error testing.
In the case of manual (human) penalties we will deal with a person. This person will follow standardized criteria, despite which we continue to have a person and not a machine, so depending on the individual in charge, you will have to convince him/her that everything is corrected to his/her satisfaction.
I can’t go into detail because every penalty is a world, but there is good general advice:
Do not waste Quality Rater’s time: fix anything and do not request revision until the list of arrangements is complete and according to the Guide.
Prevent rather than cure! So you can study the Quality Raters Guide thoroughly:
