AIOs are now shown in a significant portion of Google searches, with some reports indicating their presence in nearly 55% of queries by volume. A notable 102% increase in desktop searches in the US has been observed from January to March 2025, reaching 13.14% of all queries.
This represents a fundamental shift in Google’s approach from a list of links to a straightforward “answer engine.”
